The Hope

March 3, 2008

Life on Earth seems unreal at times. Our way of life and our way of percieving the world is steadily crumbling with wars without end, with problems that seem unresolvable, from global climate change, to psychological deviance of people in positions of power and influence in our goverments, our businesses and popular culture, and society. Threats of Economic melt down, prices of basic goods rising, unexplicable violence such as schools/university shooting, and the tragedy of modern civilization that can’t resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but instead creates illegal wars, and on and on it goes. Humanity seems either content to go on as it is or asleep to many things that go on, or trying to make things better but can’t. Why not? But we are really taking a "beating" from our elected officials that seem to think the welfair of the public doesn’t count, nor the truth. Added to that there is a threat from the sky in the form of comets, meterorities and asteroids. The article by Laura Knight-Jadczyk at signs of the times, talks about the Cometary threat from the sky and our social position on Earth, and the dynamics at play here at this turbulent time in history. We seem to be in deep collective trouble. Is there Hope for us individually and collectively? Read The Hope and find out. (Article linked in the last sentence and the side bar)
