I was watching TV recently and there was a little bit of info: 36 million Americans cannot affort to buy food for themselves. (if the pop. of USA is 300 mil then that is 12%). They have to go to food kitchens, because they don’t earn enough money with their low salary jobs and paying rents of a 1000 bucks a month.
There are some food and beverage products that are uniquely American I guess. I’ve enjoyed a couple of them not too long ago. One is Cream Soda and the other is Cheese Cake.
(And Grandma’s Apple pie- but that a lot less recently)
